Nila A. Sathe, MA, MLIS

Ms. Sathe is the Assistant Director of the Vanderbilt University Evidence-based Practice Center (EPC). She joined the EPC team in June of 2009, bringing with her expertise in communication, project management, organization, and appraisal of the literature. She was formerly the Associate Director for Research at the Eskind Biomedical Library, where she developed grant proposals, managed research projects, and helped with setting and executing the research agenda.

At the EPC she orchestrates the various phases of evidence reviews and works closely with methods and content leads and project coordinators to ensure that reviews are on track. She also serves as an investigator on reviews, contributing to literature abstracting and content development and contributing knowledge from her background in information science and informatics.

Her research interests include methods for dealing with grey literature, information retrieval in systematic reviews, and methods for critical appraisal, synthesis, and communication of health sciences literature.
