Sarah Szymkowicz, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor

Dr. Szymkowicz joined the Vanderbilt faculty in 2020. Her research focuses on studying the neural correlates and cognitive outcomes of late-life depression. She earned her BS and MS degrees in Psychology from Central Michigan University and her PhD in Clinical & Health Psychology from the University of Florida. She then completed a 2-year clinical fellowship in Neuropsychology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. She is a licensed clinical psychologist / neuropsychologist in the state of TN and focuses her clinical work in adult and geriatric neuropsychology.
