Registered Nurses (RN's)

 

Position Summary
 
Registered Nurses (RN's) apply the nursing process to plan and manage the care of patients.  This includes the continuum of care planning, patient and family education, and active participation on the healthcare team in a variety of roles.

LICENSED:
Case Manager, Charge Nurse, Clinical Staff Leader, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Surgical Technologist, Nurse Anesthetist, Nurse Manager, Nurse Resident, Assistant Nurse Manager,  Nurse Practitioner, Nursing Education Specialist, Periop Nurse Intern, Registered Nurse, Research Nurse Specialist
 
Education Requirements
 
Graduate of an NLN or CCNE accredited program.
Degree requirements will vary by position.
 
Job Experience Requirements
 
Required time in field previous to employment will vary, depending on the position.
 
Licensure Requirements
 
Registered Nurse - Tennessee or Compact State License
