Resuscitation Training Course Updates

Resuscitation Training Course Updates
Effective 1/5/2021

Resuscitation Training and Development recently launched the new HeartCode Complete blended learning program to the Medical Center. HeartCode Complete is an American Heart Association program which allows staff to complete BLS, ACLS, and PALS renewal training at their own pace, on their own schedule, and without attending a classroom-based course.

  • Beginning February 1, 2021, all renewal training for BLS, ACLS, and PALS will be through the HeartCode Complete program.
  • Classroom course format will continue for all other courses (BLS Provider Initial, Heartsaver AED, ACLS Provider w/BLS, PALS Provider w/BLS, PEARS, and EOR).
  • Course calendars for classroom courses can be found here. Registration for all courses is through the Learning Exchange.
