Vanderbilt Orthopaedic Society

The Vanderbilt Orthopaedic Society had its first meeting in 1975 with Dr. Arthur Brooks as the honored guest speaker.

The society is composed of orthopaedists who have completed the orthopedic program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and members of the full-time academic faculty. The chief residents have attended the annual meeting since 1995 at the cost of the society.

Our mission is to connect our alumni to the Department and to each other, to provide valued services to our alumni members, and to support the Department's mission of teaching, research, and service.
