Golf
Take a swing at the top courses at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort:
For those interested in an afternoon golf outing, the resort offers four fantastic 18-hole courses. Tee times can be made by calling the pro shop. Rental clubs are available for those who need them. If you are interested in playing golf, but do not have enough players for a foursome, please contact Steve Engstrom at stephen.m.engstrom@vumc.org to be paired with other VOS members.
Raven Golf Club
Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., was home to the 2013 NCAA Division III National Championship. It was voted Florida’s best new course in 2000 by Florida Golf News, and ranked “#14 in Florida” by Golf Magazine. Given four-and-a-half stars by Golf Digest Best Places to Play, Raven Golf Club was home to a stop on the PGA Champions Tour in 2006 and 2007.

Baytowne Golf Club
This course stretches from the Gulf of Mexico to the bay, with magnificent views along the way. Home to the 2013 NCAA Division III National Championship, Baytowne Golf Club has been given four-and-a-half stars in Golf Digest’s Best Places to Play. Florida Golf News named it one of the “Top 100 in Florida.”

Burnt Pine Golf Club
Designed by Rees Jones and featuring gorgeous views of Choctawhatchee Bay, has been called “The Crown Jewel of Florida Golf” by Golf Magazine. Golf Digest has named it “#19 in Florida” as well as one of America’s top 75 upscale courses. In 1995, it was called the “#3 New Resort Course in America.” Golfweek has named the course one of America’s best resort courses as well as “#14 in Florida.”

The Links Golf Club
Designed by Tom Jackson, is the shortest of Sandestin’s four courses. Home to the 2013 NCAA Division III National Championship, the views from this course are known as some of Northwest Florida’s most spectacular. The layout winds past Choctawhatchee Bay and Baytowne Marina. Florida Golf News called it one of the “Top 5 in Northwest Florida.”

Book your spot in the sand on the beach. Beach set up includes 2 beach chairs and an umbrella. Maximum of two guests per booking
Book your spot poolside in one of the Hilton Sandestin’s poolside cabanas from 7:00am to 11:00am:
Poolside Cabana:
Includes a shaded dining table and 4 chairs, 2 lounge chairs, a sunscreen pack, two Hilton Sandestin koozies and 6 chilled bottles of water. Maximum of six guests per cabana.
Premium Poolside Cabana:
For guests looking for a more private poolside experience, these standalone cabanas include a couch, 2 lounge chairs and all the amenities offered in the poolside cabana. Maximum of 8 guests per premium cabana.
