Perinatal Regionalization Program

As the perinatal referral center for the Middle Tennessee Region, the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and the Department of Nursing Education and Professional Development are pleased to offer the following continuing education courses for 2024.

To register for a course, please click on the date you wish to attend under the course you are interested in. You will be directed to an online form for registration. You will receive an email two weeks prior to the course with the time and location information.

  • Care of the High-Risk OB Patient- Level II (full day)
    Topics included in this course are preterm labor, hypertension in pregnancy, diabetes, and disseminated intravascular coagulation.

  • Electronic Fetal Monitoring Review/Case Studies (45 minutes)
    This interactive program will review electronic fetal monitoring tracings utilizing case studies with a focus on NICHD terminology. This program is great for new staff who need additional practice with strip interpretation or experienced staff for review. 

    Each program will last approximately 45 minutes and will start at 9 a.m.
