The Pediatric Acute Care track is geared toward new nurses who seek to specialize in pediatric acute care nursing. The program is designed to nurture the new graduate nurse in the transition from student to professional nurse. It provides new nurses with the specific tools and experiences needed to begin a successful career in a variety of pediatric acute care settings. After orientation to VUMC, you will experience a focused orientation in your unit and work with unit-based preceptors.
