Accreditation and Licensure

The Medical Laboratory Science Program is accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) which serves as a peer review committee. NAACLS is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, and is committed to quality in education and educational review. The program is also licensed by the State of Tennessee as required by the Tennessee Laboratory Act and is approved to operate by the Tennessee Department of Health and Environment.
