Taylar Dickson, MD
Taylar was born and raised in Southeast Michigan. She completed her undergraduate degree at Grand Valley State University where she majored in Biomedical Science with a minor in Psychology. She attended medical school at Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, where she discovered her passions for Health Equity and advocating for under-resourced populations. She was a leader in the Student National Medical Association, serving on both the local and national committee for Health Policy reform. She was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and graduated with a certificate in Public Health. She is currently a resident in the Internal Medicine Program at VUMC and is hoping to continue to advocate for health equity within the field of Gastroenterology.
