Claudia Barajas

Claudia is the owner of Barsal Properties, a vacation rental business built on the principle of creating spaces where guests feel at home and have genuine experiences. With over two decades of community-focused work, she brings a hands-on, personal approach to property management and guest relations.

Earlier in her career, Claudia spent 10 years as a Community Engagement Manager at Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center, where she developed partnerships aimed at reducing cancer disparities in underserved communities and increasing clinical trials participation. That experience taught her how to listen, adapt, and put people first—principles she carries into her business today. She remains committed to community work, serving on the board of Mercy Community Health Center and co-chairing the Greater Nashville Health Disparities Coalition.
