Brenda Harness, MA, BS Ed

Brenda reviews, documents, and maintains immunization and screening records for new and current faculty/staff as an Administrative Assistant Clinical for the Occupational Health Clinic. Brenda received her Bachelor of Arts in Teaching from Columbus State University and has a Master of Arts degree in Art History from Vanderbilt University Graduate School. Prior to coming to Vanderbilt, Brenda worked in personnel for the federal government. Later as a teacher, she taught art in elementary schools, computer classes at Nashville Technical Institute, and art history classes at MTSU. She also worked in finance, marketing investments and insurance. She is an avid reader, and her hobbies include crafting, painting, drawing, and sculpture.​
