Vern Eric Kerchberger completed his Bachelor of Science, in Chemistry, from Yale University (May 2008) and his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine (May 2012). Eric completed his internal medicine residency training at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University Medical Center. Eric relocated to Nashville in 2015 and is currently a fourth year clinical fellow in the Division of Allergy, Pulmonary, and Critical Care Medicine in the Department of Medicine. Eric is a Master student funded on the NLM Training Grant.

Mirza did his internal medicine residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Kyle Hawkins completed his Bachelor of Science, in Physics with a minor in Mathematics, at Centre College (May 2017). Kyle is a student in the Department of Molecular Physiology & Biophysics. He is a PhD in Biophysics and currently working on developing a nonlinear control and estimation framework for optimizing iPSC to neuron differentiation protocols. Kyle is funded on the NLM Training Grant’s NIEHS supplement.
