VUMC Generative AI Updates
The second town hall in the On the Horizon series, “VUMC Generative AI Update” was hosted on July 26, 9-10am, by Dr. Peter Embí, MD, MS, Senior Vice President for Research & Innovation. This event provided the Vanderbilt Community with an overview of generative AI, what’s being made available to researchers in the areas of AI tools and capabilities (including Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s aiChat), and how these tools and capabilities can be accessed to accelerate research. Presenters include VUMC leaders in generative AI, information technology, biomedical informatics, and more.
