The MSACI Program is a full-time, two-year (5 academic terms – 36 credit hours) program. Tuition is paid prior to each academic term (Year 1: Fall, Spring, Summer; Year 2: Fall, Spring). There is no part-time status. Rates for tuition and fees are set annually by the Board of Trust and are subject to change without notice.
Current tuition amounts are:
Year 1 $42,488
Year 2 $14,163
Please note that tuition and fee increases are generally approved by the Vanderbilt Board of Trust every April.
All MSACI students are responsible for the following student fees:
Transcript... $100 (one-time fee)
Student Health Insurance... $3,253 (optional, see details below)
Student Health Check... $65
Activity and Recreation Fees... $229 (Fall, Spring) $76 (Summer)
Please note that with the exception of the Transcript Fee and Activity and Recreation Fees, all other fees are charged one-half in Fall and one-half in Spring. For the most up to date information, please visit the Student Accounts website.
Vanderbilt University requires all eligible students to be covered by a health insurance plan that is comparable to or exceeds the Student Injury and Sickness Insurance Plan. Student Account will automatically bill the insurance fee in two equal installments; if the student withdraws or leaves the University at any time or for any reason after enrolling in the Vanderbilt insurance plan, the student will still be responsible for payment of the premium for the full 12 months of coverage. If the student already has comparable health coverage, then a waiver from the Vanderbilt insurance plan must be requested. For more information please visit the Student Health Center website.
Students in the MSACI Program are not charged the Student Recreation Fee, which covers the cost of a membership to the Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center. Students who wish to take advantage of this benefit may choose to purchase a membership at the discounted student rate.
