Ziv Beckerman, MD, MEBCTS, FEBCTS, FACS, FACC, FAHA
Dr. Ziv Beckerman is a congenital heart surgeon serving as Associate Chief of Pediatric Cardiac Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, and Surgical Director of the Adult Congenital Heart and Pediatric Heart Transplant programs. He specializes in complex congenital heart conditions in small babies. Dr. Beckerman also specializes in complex aortic repairs and valve repairs, heart failure, transplantation, and high-risk reoperative surgeries. Dr. Beckerman is known for advancing innovative surgical techniques and delivering multidisciplinary, patient-centered care.
Previously, Dr. Beckerman held leadership roles at Duke University and Dell Medical School, where he directed programs in adult congenital heart disease and pediatric heart failure.
An accomplished researcher, Dr. Beckerman focuses on adult congenital heart disease, pediatric heart failure, transplantation, and tissue regeneration. His widely published work has been presented at leading conferences, solidifying his reputation as a global leader in congenital heart surgery.
