The VUMC Evidence-based Practice and Nursing Research Committee was established to develop and evaluate tools, programs and resources that support all aspects of inquiry and innovation and align with VUMC nursing strategic priorities.
Evidence-based Practice and Nursing Research Committee Goals
2022 Goals:
- Increasing competency of committee members to search for and summarize the literature.
- Recommend next steps for engagement of EBP based on literature synthesis.
2023 Goals/Short Term Projects of Committee:
- Development of EBP culture and resources survey
- Development of a repository for sharing of literature syntheses and project ideas
- Development of Journal Clubs
- Individual project development
