Michelle Gomez, MS, is a PhD student in the Department of Biomedical Informatics. She earned her M.S. degree in Physics, August 2020, from Fisk University as part of the Fisk-Vanderbilt Master's-to-Ph.D. Bridge Program. She participated in the Vanderbilt Biomedical Informatics Summer Program (VBISP) in Summer 2019 and since then has been interested in the intersection of people, processes, and technology. Her current research focuses on understanding and mapping human trafficking interventions in the greater Nashville area to inform future protocols and tools.
