Yiyang Wu, MD, PhD

Dr. Yiyang Wu is a physician scientist with over ten years of training in medicine and biomedical research, particularly in medical genetics and genomics. Yiyang's PhD thesis focused on accelerating the discovery of the genetic basis of rare diseases and achieving precision medicine via reliable clinical genomics. Yiyang joined the Computational Neurogenomics Team at Vanderbilt Memory and Alzheimer’s Center with the goal to help cure Alzheimer’s disease. Yiyang is also known as "an avid Lego fan" and "a crazy dog mom" to Hero, Yiyang's service dog and teammate.
