Dr. Tameka A. Clemons is a biochemist and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Professional and Medical Education at Meharry Medical College. Dr. Clemons' research interests focus on amylin and the biochemical signaling networks and amylin may influence, as well as the impact of ABCA7 on Alzheimer's disease.

Dr. Clemons completed her doctoral degree in biochemistry at Meharry Medical College and a Postdoctoral Fellowship at Emory University. She joined the Meharry Medical College faculty in 2020.
