Research Coordinator

Sydney Wilhoite is a Clinical Translational Research Coordinator at the Vanderbilt Memory & Alzheimer’s Center. She graduated from the University of Michigan in May 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology, Cognition, & Neuroscience and a minor in Applied Statistics. While at Michigan, she worked as an undergraduate research assistant in Dr. Laura Zahodne’s lab on the Michigan Cognitive Aging Project, and she completed a senior honors thesis examining the relationship between childhood adversity and later-life cognitive functioning.  
 
Sydney is excited to work at VMAC and learn more about cognitive decline and Alzheimer’s disease. In the future, she plans to pursue a doctoral degree in clinical psychology and specialize in neuropsychology. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, traveling, listening to music, and spending time with her family and friends.
