Marilyn Steinbach is a research coordinator at the Vanderbilt Memory & Alzheimer’s Center. She graduated from Virginia Tech in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in both Biological Sciences and Psychology. While at Tech, she served as the undergraduate lab coordinator in the Behavioral Neuroscience Lab (BNL) under the direction of Dr. David Harrison, as well as working as his neuropsychology technician on the rehabilitation floor of LewisGale Medical Center. Her research in the BNL focused on different areas in behavioral neuroscience ranging from PTSD to emotional and spatial awareness to boredom. She also studied immune cell migration using microfluidic devices in a biomedical engineering lab.
In her spare time, Marilyn enjoys hiking and exploring Nashville.
