Humza Ahmed works at the Vanderbilt Memory & Alzheimer’s Center as a Neuroimaging Analyst. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering from Texas A&M University. His research interests revolve around using mathematical modeling to tackle poorly understood medical issues. In his most recent professional role as a Research Technician he studied social pain disparities and neurological pain processing using fMRI.
Humza is an avid Houston sports fan and looks forward to exploring all of Tennessee’s state parks.
