Eric Gamazon, PhD

Assistant Professor of Medicine

Dr. Eric R. Gamazon is as a statistical geneticist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Gamazon’s research focuses on elucidating the molecular basis of Alzheimer’s disease risk by integrating human phenomic and genomic methodology.

Dr. Gamazon completed his doctoral degree in statistical and neuropsychiatric genetics at the University of Amsterdam. He joined the Vanderbilt faculty in 2017.
