Clinical Translational Research Coordinator I

Carlie Beeson is a Clinical Translational Research Coordinator at the Vanderbilt Memory & Alzheimer’s Center. She graduated from California Lutheran University in May 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in psychology with a minor in philosophy. During her time at Cal Lutheran, she worked in Dr. Marylie Gerson’s Positive Psychology lab and later completed an honors thesis exploring the effect of facial masks on memory and emotion recognition in individuals with autistic tendencies.

Carlie is excited to work for VMAC and further develop her skills before pursuing a doctoral degree. In her free time, she enjoys reading, working out, and finding new music.
