A multi-institutional collaboration published findings that identify Dlgap2 as modifier of cognitive longevity in Diversity Outbred mice and associate the gene with Alzheimer's disease. The team of researchers included Logan Dumitrescu, PhD, and Tim Hohman, PhD, of the Vanderbilt Memory and Alzheimer's Center as well as investigators from the Jackson Laboratory and Rush Alzheimer's Disease Research Center, among others.
