Lauren joined the Guelcher lab in August of 2016 after receiving her B.S. in Bioengineering from Lehigh University (2016). Her research is focused on engineering biodegradable polyurethane based composites for the delivery of Recombinant human bone morphogenetic growth factor-2 (rhBMP-2) to aide bone regeneration.
