There is so much to know about Magnet designation at VUMC and we want to make sure you have access to educational resources to help you stay "in the know" about Magnet! So, whether you are new to Vanderbilt and learning about Magnet for the first time, or whether you were here for the second (or maybe even the first) designation and just need a Magnet refresher, we have resources here to meet your educational needs.

A glossary of basic Magnet terms created by the Magnet Education Committee. Not sure what Empirical Quality Outcomes are?  What about Structural Empowerment? These terms and more are explained so that you can understand how it relates to Vanderbilt's Magnet Designation.  The Magnet Glossary page includes a printable version to share with your colleagues.
