This pause affects future enduring/on-demand recordings only; existing activities in the LMS with contact hours will remain available.
Requests aligned with specific entities will be reviewed
individually in coordination with the appropriate Clinical Education and Development director/leader to determine feasibility. Activities that are enduring/on-demand,
which fall under these specific entity requests, will be temporarily paused.

The request for contact hours needs to be submitted at least 45 days prior to the proposed activity date. Only one request form per activity per calendar
year is required. For example, if your activity is a monthly series, only one request form is needed for the calendar year.
Effective January 1, 2024, due to accreditation and administrative processes, VUMC will no longer be able to provide both CME credit and
nursing continuing professional development (NCPD) contact hours for the same activity. Only one credit type can be provided. If your target audience is
primarily nursing—including advanced practice nursing—we encourage you to submit a request form for your activity.
