Wear gown, gloves upon entry to patient room (regardless if contact with patient and/or the patient's environment is anticipated).
NOTE: Alcohol gel does not effectively kill C. difficile spores or norovirus -- USE SOAP & WATER for hand hygiene after contacting patient with C. difficile or norovirus infection or their environment.
