Community Advisory Board
The program is fortunate to have a Community Advisory Board (CAB) composed of local community members from all walks of life who form an important link between the researchers, the volunteers and the community at large. Working with the staff, CAB members help keep the consent forms in terms that are scientifically accurate and in language that non-medical people can understand. The CAB's input with regards to recruitment and retention of volunteers is a major contribution to the vaccine effort. Meetings are held virtually at 5:30 pm on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
