The Postdoc Wellness Program of Work/Life Connections-EAP was created for eligible postdocs to promote psychological resilience and support personal and professional well-being. The program strives to empower all postdocs as they develop their strengths, refine their skills, and establish their professional identities.
The keys to the Postdoc Wellness Program's success are accessibility, proximity, confidentiality, and compassion. Our team of on-site, licensed clinicians conduct confidential assessments and provide recommendations tailored to the unique needs of the individual. Recommendations may include performance coaching, short-term counseling, or referral to community providers. Performance coaching focuses on enhancing productivity and workplace effectiveness through goal-setting and skill-building. Counseling for acute life stressors is brief and solution-focused. For those who need longer-term or more specialized counseling for ongoing issues, resource information and referrals to community providers are given.
To schedule a confidential appointment with one of our licensed EAP clinicians, call 615-936-1327 weekdays from 8a.m. to 5p.m.
