This is a Vanderbilt University Medical Center annual event providing flu vaccination to faculty and staff at no charge.
Flulapalooza® XI will be held on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, from 6 am to 6 pm in the tent behind Light Hall.
The following flu vaccines will be offered at Flulapalooza®

65 or older vaccine (Quadrivalent inactivated)3 | People age 65 and older |
1Most of our QIV is latex-free and thimerosal-free.
2A cell-based flu shot (Flucelvax Quadrivalent) containing virus grown in cell culture, which is approved for people 6 months and older. This vaccine is completely egg-free.
3An egg-based adjuvanted flu shot (Fluad Quadrivalent), which is approved for people 65 years and older. This vaccine is made with an adjuvant (an ingredient that helps create a stronger immune response).
TIPS:
- Wear short sleeves or have sleeves rolled up
- Don’t forget your Vanderbilt University or Vanderbilt University Medical Center ID badge
- Stagger staff participation
- Food and drink are not allowed in the tent.
