As a biomedical engineering faculty member, Paschal has taught both local and international biomedical service learning courses. She leads teams of engineering students to Guatemala to test and repair biomedical equipment in hospitals there. She has also worked with local organizations providing medical equipment and services to international populations both in Nashville and abroad. Her additional interests are in engineering education for all majors and biomedical imaging.
