AITRP Alumi present at AIDS 2012

 
 
The Vanderbilt-CIDRZ (Center for Infectious Disease Research, Zambia) AIDS International Research Training Program (AITRP) partners with international collaborators from five countries-Zambia, China, India, Pakistan, and Mozambique.
AIDS 2012 PRESENTERS
Arshad Altaf (AITRP Alum 1998) will present a poster entitled "Social drivers of the HIV epidemic in Pakistan" during the Thursday, July 26th 12:30-2:30PM session.
 
Justor Banda (AITRP Alum 2011) will present a poster entitled "Prevalence and factors associated with renal dysfunction in HIV positive and negative adults at the University Teaching Hospital, Lusaka, Zambia" during the Monday, July 23rd 12:30-2:30PM session.
 
Tina Hylton-Kong (AITRP Alum 1997) will present a poster entitlted "Randomized controlled trial on the effectiveness of counseling messages for avoiding unprotected sexual intercourse during STI and RTI treatment among female STI clinic patients" during the Thursday, July 26th 12:30-2:30PM session.
 
Lloyd Mulenga (AITRP Alum 2009) will present a poster entitled "Persistance of NNRTIs associated mutations in HIV-1 subtype C infected patients failing NNRTI sparing second line ART in Zambia" during the Tuesday, July 24th 12:30-2:30PM session.
 
Vikrant Sahasrabuddhe (AITRP Alum 2006) will deliver an oral presentation entitled "HPV genotype attribution of anal neoplasia in HIV-infected MSM: estimating the preventable fraction and disease mis classification" during the Wednesday, July 25th 2:30-4:30PM session.
 
Han-Zhu Qian (AITRP Alum 2005) will present an oral poster presentation entitlted "Modeling of HIV epidemic among MSM in Beijing, China" during the Thursday, July 26th 1:00-2:00PM session.
