Mobile Health and Treat (mHAT) for Malaria Elimination
While malaria control efforts have shown success in limiting the spread of the disease, elimination campaigns will require improved surveillance capabilities and faster information workflow after the identification of an index case. This proposal, a collaborative effort between Vanderbilt University and the Macha Research Trust in Zambia, describes the development and testing of a “mobile health and treat” malaria elimination strategy that is sustainable and scalable.
