Dr. Blackford is a developmental psychologist.

She is interested in understanding how temperament and personality shape psychosis.

Dr. Jennifer Blackford has been a member of the faculty since 1999. In 2006, she began her independent research career and is a member of the Psychiatric Neuroimaging Program. She uses fMRI and genetics methods to understand how temperament confers risk for anxiety, depression and psychosis.
