Joshua Landman, PhD is a Vanderbilt Genomic Medicine (VGM) postdoctoral fellow and a research fellow in the Below Lab with broad interests in data science and biomedical informatics, relating to applying both novel and extant methods toward building models that predict a wide variety of outcomes. He joined the Below Lab in 2023 and the VGM Training Program in 2025. His current research focuses on developing machine learning and statistical methods for multi-omics approaches to gene discovery for a wide variety of phenotypes. His long-term goal is to develop a research program integrating electronic health records, and multi-omics data to develop clinical outcome prediction models that encompass the broadest possible array of factors that contribute to health.

He received his Master's degree in Analytics from Northeastern University and has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Technology. Prior to joining Vanderbilt University Medical Center, he worked at various global and regional firms in biomedical, IT, and finance industries.

After completing her PhD in Medicinal Chemistry at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, NC, in 2012, Leigh Ann spent two years with Vanderbilt as a post-doctoral fellow in clinical pharmacology before taking a position as a research and development chemist for the CDC in Atlanta. Returning to Nashville once again, she first worked as a research scientist for Aegis before returning to VUMC in 2020 as a Senior Project Manager in VICTR. Leigh Ann joined DBMI in January 2024 as a Senior IT Project Manager.

Yufei Long is originally from Shenzchen, China. She holds an MPH degree from Vanderbilt University Medical Center and a BS in Biology from Boston College. She played D1 tennis for 5 years at Vanderbilt and Boston College, where she also took on the role of senior captain. Her research interests lie in the areas of behavioral health, qualitative research and public health policy. 

She currently works as a Research Analyst in the Colin Walsh Lab

Katey Robinson is the project manager for the Walsh Lab (Principal Investigator Dr. Colin Walsh). 

She is a Tennessee native and graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Prior to joining the lab, she spent several years as a medical scribe and traveling project manager. In this role she developed, implemented, and managed inpatient, ambulatory, and emergency department scribe programs for healthcare groups across the country. This included the implementation of a scribe program for VUMC's Department of Urologic Surgery during Vanderbilt's 2017 EHR transition from StarPanel to eStar. 

In the Walsh Lab, Katey provides project management support across Dr. Walsh's research portfolio and facilitates day to day lab administration. She has also served as a chart validator for numerous projects investigating natural language processing (NLP) for phenotypic extraction.
