Taylor Thurston, Sr. Project Manager, earned his Doctoral degree from Radford University’s Doctor of Health Science (DHSc) program with a focus on Public Health and Health Education. He also holds a Master of Healthcare Administration from Jefferson College of Health Science. Dr. Thurston’s research study: Success Strategies for Undergraduate Nursing Students Transitioning from Military Healthcare Careers: A Qualitative Study, sought to identify ways for veterans to incorporate their military skills and training into healthcare education. Augmented by his fiver-year enlistment in the United States Marine Corps, his commitment to further serve the veteran community became the primer for future research and advocacy.
