Dr. Cooper is a pharmacoepidemiologist with a focus on the effects of psychotropic medications in children and adverse effects of prescription medication use during pregnancy. Dr. Cooper has achieved national and international recognition for his work in using computerized databases to ask and answer important questions of drug safety. His work has been funded by the National Institutes of Health, the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality, the Food and Drug Administration, and national foundations.
