Alese Halvorson is a Biostatistician collaborating with researchers in the Vanderbilt Center for Child Health Policy. She received her Master of Science degree from the Vanderbilt Department of Biostatistics in 2019 after completing thesis work in the normalization methods of basic science research. Alese hails from Minnesota and graduated from Macalester College in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics. She then worked at Mayo Clinic for two years as a statistical programmer analyst in the Department of Cancer Center Statistics before making the move down to Nashville.
