Project REACH Scholars

  • Johanna (Hanna) earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2016 and earned her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Vanderbilt University in 2018. After finishing her master’s degree, she worked at University of Maryland Medical Center and then in the public schools in Delaware. She was the recipient of the 2023 Sertoma Communicative Disorders Scholarship and the American-Speech Language Hearing Association Early Career Achievement certificate.

    Her research interests include the identification and treatment of literacy impairments in children with speech sound disorders as well treatment of severe speech sound disorders. She is a trainee on a Leadership Training Grant from the US Department of Education.
