Workforce Programs

The Center for Programs in Allied Health (CPiAH) offers three types of certificate programs: workforce, tuition, and institutionally accredited. All provide a combination of classroom education and clinical training.

Workforce programs directly support Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC)'s needs for qualified allied health professionals in a variety of health care settings. CPiAH works closely with VUMC Human Resources to recruit students.

For many workforce programs, VUMC covers tuition costs, and students receive an hourly wage with the expectation that upon program completion, they commit to a full-time, relevant position at VUMC and continue in that role for one year. These opportunities are contingent upon current hiring needs.

More information about workforce programs is available on individual program pages (links below).
