One of the key factors to securing your first grant funding is adequate and appropriate mentorship. The Section Scholars program is designed to provide longitudinal and intentional guidance for junior faculty looking to pursue external grant funding. The program consists of a structured timeline and quarterly meetings with Section Research leadership to support the growth and development of early stage surgeon-scientist.
