Cognitive neuroscience is the study of the physical biology of the neural circuits in our brains and how they produce the cognitive and psychological functions that define us as human. It is a multidisciplinary field, integrating information from psychology, computation, biology, and neuroscience. Our lab is extensively involved in studying cognitive neuroscience in the context of basal ganglia disorders.
