If you’re a clinician scientist and/or health services researcher interested in a gentle introduction to using R for analyses, report writing, data cleaning, and/or figure development, we have a new & improved workshop available! Join us on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month from 10-11am at 2525, 12th Floor, Main Conference Room. The Learning Health System Clinic
The Learning Health System Clinic is a forum for developing ideas and for reviewing the results of studies that are aligned with the VICTR Learning Health System Platform. Central to the platform is the notion that systematic investigation of practice change can raise the quality of evidence about that practice sufficiently to truly inform real world health care. The clinic is staffed by LHS experts and biostatisticians who are able to help investigators develop their ideas into any number of study designs, with a preference for highly pragmatic approaches and for randomized trials. In addition, investigators seeking feedback on study results are invited to present.
LHS Clinics are currently held every Thursday at 2pm in MCN D2221. We are limited to two presenters at any clinic. Attendance at a clinic is strongly recommended prior to submitting a formal request for support from the VICTR LHS Platform.
The application for LHS support is listed under Tools and Templates. Those who are interested in presenting their proposals or ideas at a workshop can submit the application, and we will follow up with them to coordinate it.
