Urban & Rural Health | Rotation

Health promoters need supportive supervision to ensure ongoing training and mentorship that helps them provide the most effective care in their communities. The AMOS Primary Healthcare Team provides this supervision by traveling to communities twice a month. The volunteer that participates in this rotation will have the opportunity to shadow the supervisors during their visits to the communities and experience up-close the AMOS method of supportive supervision. The Rural Health Rotation will give participants a complete experience of how AMOS ensures access to health care and training in both the rural and urban areas of Nicaragua.
