Timmy Global Health Annual Medical Service Trip

Timmy Global Health is a national organization that partners with different universities to coordinate medical service trips to diverse populations.  Timmy supports 10 community based project sites in the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, and Nigeria.  Timmy returns every 2-3 months to each location, working with local hospitals and physicians to offer extensive in-country referral systems, and has recently introduced an EMR system to ensure effective and continued care.  Vanderbilt's chapter of Timmy Global Health travels to the Quito site once a year in August with a team of undergraduate students and medical professionals.  Trip leaders recruit a team of medical professionals for each trip, so we are always looking for help advertising these opportunities to faculty.  We have positions available for MD, DO, PA, NP, RN, and RPh.  More information about Timmy's medical service trips and year round efforts can be found here

For undergraduates, the deadline is typically January or February, with trip interest meetings beginning in October; for medical professionals, the deadline is rolling.
