Wilson Silva, Ph.D., is an infectious disease epidemiologist currently serving as Laboratory Advisor for Vanderbilt University subsidiary, Friends in Global Health, in Mozambique. Dr. Silva received his Ph.D. from the Federal University of São Paulo in Brazil. Dr. Silva’s research interests include building the laboratory network of HIV treatment follow-up, molecular biology and evolution of HIV, and HIV-1 genotypic resistance of antiretroviral treatment.
