General Information Session for Medical Students

What: Learn about exciting global health opportunities during medical school

When: Tuesday, July 21 at 5 p.m.

Where: Light Hall 411

Why you should attend: Have you ever wanted to provide healthcare in low-resource settings? Do leadership roles in research, service, and health advocacy in developing countries interest you? Do different cultures excite you?

There are increasing demands for health professionals who have experience working with diverse, international populations and who have research interests in health problems of developing countries. VUSM and VIGH offer many hands-on opportunities to engage in clinical rotations, study, and research in developing countries.
